James Bond's Chelsea home
Author Ian Fleming chose Chelsea as the location for Bond's home in his novels. Could this be the house he had in mind?


Ian Fleming was rather vague about where his suave protagnist chose to lay his head on the rare occasions that he was in town. All we know from the novels is that James Bond calls a Regency house in a tree-lined square off Kings Road his home.
While the exact location has never been given, enthusiasts have held that Bond's house was probably in Wellington Square, SW3. If this is the case, it wouldn't be disimilar to the town house that Knight Frank are launching on the market this week.
This Grade II listed, 5-bedroom house is situated in a prime position towards the far end of the attractive square. The house benefits from its own side entrance giving it extra width as well as additional terracing.
