Former Florentine convent
A former convent in the centre of Florence has been converted into a striking apartment on three levels
An apartment in Florence, one block from the central square of the city which houses the famous cathedral of Il Duomo, has been launched on the market.
The property still retains many of its original features but has been renovated by the architect Anna Conti to create a light and open space which blends old and new by using modern materials of glass and steel against the historic architecture of the building. The 700 sq m loft-apartment is laid out on three levels. The ground floor has a internal courtyard with glass walls, around which sits a living room, kitchen, bathroom and independent studio with bathroom.
The first mezzanine has a master bedroom with a living room and the second mezzanine has a bedroom with bathroom and an attic-bedroom. On the top floor there is 150 sq m roof terrace with a glass floor.
via Bufalini apartment: £ 2,580,301
Price: Via Bufalini is on the market for £ 2,580,301. Contact: Hamptons Italy on +39 06 688 928 70
