There is a current licence from The Crown Estate for the reinstatement of the pier and pontoon on the island. There are a number of other ruins on the island showing that it once supported a viable croft. A mooring buoy is located in the bay, under annual licence from The Crown Estate.
Castleton occupies a stunning position on the north shore of Loch Fyne in Argyll, which is renowned as one of Scotland's most attractive counties, with the extensive coastline being a particular attraction to sailors. Lochgilphead has a wide range of shopping, leisure, medical and recreational facilities, while Glasgow provides the wide range of services expected from Scotland's largest city.
The guide price is £275,000. For further information please contact Strutt & Parker on 0131 226 2500 or visit www.struttandparker.com.
