‘The fact that this house hasn’t been touched for 40 years means that someone will have the opportunity to really make their mark,’ says Richard Martin, whose parents lived there for more than 40 years. ‘My father was an active member of the local community: he was a Cotswolds Warden, which is a sort of Dad’s Army, who would clear footpaths and such, and he often used the house as a place to meet.’
