Fishing Rights on the River Bovey in Dartmoor have come up for sale in Devon, with a good mixture of runs, pools and ripple sections.
Fishing rights over a good section of the River Bovey in Dartmoor have come up for sale with Savills. There are about 727 yards of single and double bank game fishing available which run from Bovey Bridge to the redundant railway line.
The river is known for holding wild brown trout and some runs of salmon and sea trout during certain periods of the year.
The fishing consists of a misture of runs, pools and shallow ripple sections suitable for fishing with dry fly or nymph.
The access is on foot - further details are available from the agent, but the river flows from its source between Changford Common and Shapley Common and into the River Teign at Teigngrace.
