The second dog in our Twelve Dogs of Christmas series is gorgeous six year-old springer spaniel cross Dilham.

Active, loyal and utterly lovable, Dilham would love a new family to take him in and provide him with a cosy new home.

Kate Brewster of Dos Trust Snetterton says, ‘Dilham is a very clever boy with a very sweet disposition. He can be a bit weary of strangers but once he builds up a bond with you he will be a friend for life.

‘He would like a home that can keep him mentally and physically entertained and is a big fan of playtime, especially if it involves a tennis ball.

‘He would happily live with a female dog but would prefer a feline-free zone. He is struggling with kennel life so would like to head to his new home soon.'

If you think you can offer Dilham a new home please contact the team at Dogs Trust Snetterton on 01953 498 377 or visit the team at North End Road, Snetterton Norfolk, NR16 2LD.

For more information on Dogs Trust you can visit their website www.dogstrust.org.uk.

We think all dogs deserve a wonderful home but please remember not to pick up a dog this Christmas unless they can be financially supported and receive the time and devotion they require.

If you would like to help Country Life and Dogs Trust to spread the message that a dog is for life, not just for Christmas, why not get involved with the Dogs Trust #presspaws campaign.
