Number five in our Twelve Dogs of Christmas series is the loveable Glen, a 2 year-old jack russell Terrier Cross.

A lively little character, Glen can be a little timid at first but once he gets to know you his full personality shines through and he is good with other dogs.

Glen is looking for a an active, adult only home with owners who are able to give him the attention and time he needs to build his confidence with the outside world.

He could potentially live with another dog in the home and would be able to be left for a couple of hours once he has settled into his new house.

If you think Glen is the terrier for you ten please contact the Dogs Trust Canterbury team on 01227 792505 or visit them at Radfall Road, Chestfield, Nr Whitstable, Kent, CT5 3ER.

For more information on Dogs Trust you can visit their website www.dogstrust.org.uk.

We think all dogs deserve a wonderful home but they are a big responsibility, so please remember not to pick up a dog this Christmas unless they can be financially supported and receive the time and devotion they require.

If you would like to help Country Life and Dogs Trust to spread the message that a dog is for life, not just for Christmas, why not get involved with the Dogs Trust #presspaws campaign.
