The eighth candidate in our Twelve Dogs of Christmas series is the lovely Jasper, a one year old terrier cross at Dogs Trust Snetterton who is looking for a loving new home.

Jasper loves the outdoors and, a clever and very friendly dog, he is always enthusiastic to learn new things.

Kate Brewster of Dogs Trust Snetterton says, ‘Jasper is a really happy, friendly boy who is pleased to see everybody and always eager to impress new friends with the training he has already mastered.

‘A real bright spark, he learns things quickly and is always keen to practice new skills, so he is looking for owners that can challenge his mind and keep him busy.

‘A very sweet lad, Jasper loves people and could live with children as young as ten in a feline-free home. An active boy, Jasper enjoys going out and about to explore, and will happily walk with other calm four legged friends.

‘A nice boy through and through, once settled in to a new home Jasper will make a loving and loyal companion.'

If you think Jasper is the dog for you please contact the team at Dogs Trust Snetterton on 01953 498 377 or visit them at North End Row, Snetterton, Norfolk, NR16 2LD.

For more information on Dogs Trust you can visit their website www.dogstrust.org.uk.

We think all dogs deserve a wonderful home but they are a big responsibility, so please remember not to pick up a dog this Christmas unless they can be financially supported and receive the time and devotion they require.

If you would like to help Country Life and Dogs Trust to spread the message that a dog is for life, not just for Christmas, why not get involved with the Dogs Trust #presspaws campaign.
