The Game Fair in 2014
Organisers of the Game Fair 2014 are hoping for a bumper show this year

After last year's CLA Game Fair at Ragley Hall, when a heatwave and disjointed layout stymied trade-stand sales, organizers are hopeful of a bumper 2014 show at Blenheim Palace on July 18-20 (www.gamefair.co.uk) and have devised a new advertising campaign. ‘This is our opportunity to embrace a wider audience and, instead of just defending ourselves, explain what the field sports community does in terms of looking after the countryside,' explains director Andrew Crawford.

‘Ragley is a difficult site and the weather didn't help-people usually spend about eight hours there, but, last year, the temperature in some tents was 50°- plus.' Exhibitor take-up for 2014 is 20% up on the same stage in 2011.
