Prince Charles guest-edits Country Life
His Royal Highness Prince Charles is guest editor of Country Life magazine today on the occasion of his 65th birthday

History is made at COUNTRY LIFE as The Prince of Wales guest edits an edition in honour of his 65th birthday.
Features reflect The Prince's interests in art, music, architecture and organic farming and he has written about his visions for rural life and sustainable planning and nominate an eclectic group of champions of the countryside.
‘The Prince of Wales has been a great supporter of COUNTRY LIFE and its ideals over many decades, and has always taken a close interest in what we do, so we're delighted, at last, to be able to call on his wise input and creativity,' says Editor Mark Hedges. ‘We know the result is very special issue, with fascinating insights into the Prince's thinking.'
It has been a tremendous team effort with more than 900 emails exchanged between the Country Life Office and the small team working on the project at Clarence House,' added Mr Hedges

Exquisite houses, the beauty of Nature, and how to get the most from your life, straight to your inbox.
Country Life is unlike any other magazine: the only glossy weekly on the newsstand and the only magazine that has been guest-edited by HRH The King not once, but twice. It is a celebration of modern rural life and all its diverse joys and pleasures — that was first published in Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee year. Our eclectic mixture of witty and informative content — from the most up-to-date property news and commentary and a coveted glimpse inside some of the UK's best houses and gardens, to gardening, the arts and interior design, written by experts in their field — still cannot be found in print or online, anywhere else.
