Highgrove shop to open in Bath
The Prince of Wales is to open a third Highgrove shop in Bath this week

This week, HRH the Prince of Wales will open the third Highgrove shop on Milsom Street, Bath. Set in a Grade I listed townhouse the shop will stock the Highgrove collection of food, lifestyle and garden products, all from ethical and sustainable sources and many made by British artisans and craftsmen. All profits from the sales go to The Prince of Wales's Charities Foundation.
The Prince of Wales bought the Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire in 1980 and it is from here that much of the seasonal produce for the organic foods is sourced, and where the inspiration for the collections originate.
The shop in Bath will carry an exclusive limited edition range of cedar wood gifts, crafted from the Cedar of Lebanon tree that once stood at the top of the Thyme walk in the garden at Highgrove. Christine Prescott, CEO of Highgrove Enterprises said, ‘This is an opportunity for us to increase the awareness of HRH The Prince of Wales's Charities Foundation, which receives all profits from the sale of our products'.
The shop will open its doors in Wednesday, June 9, 2010

Country Life is unlike any other magazine: the only glossy weekly on the newsstand and the only magazine that has been guest-edited by HRH The King not once, but twice. It is a celebration of modern rural life and all its diverse joys and pleasures — that was first published in Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee year. Our eclectic mixture of witty and informative content — from the most up-to-date property news and commentary and a coveted glimpse inside some of the UK's best houses and gardens, to gardening, the arts and interior design, written by experts in their field — still cannot be found in print or online, anywhere else.
