Country Life ‘one of Britain’s most influential magazines’
Country Life has been selected as one of the most influential magazines in Britain’s history
Country Life magazine has been picked by an industry expert as one of the top ten most important magazines in Britain's history. The selection was made by the former director of National Magazines Brian Braithwaite.
Mr Braithwaite says of Country Life: ‘So British you almost have to stand up when it comes into the room. The glossy's glossy and the standard bearer of luxury lifestyle magazine publishing.'
Other titles mentioned included the defunct Punch and Picture Post as well as The Economist and Private Eye.
