Bid for a sporting day this season
Bid for fishing on The Tweed or other sporting lots with the National Gamekeeper's Organisation this summer


Bidding has opened for the Tweed Foundation's annual fundraising auction of fishing. There are 37 lots, some on prime Tweed beats, such as Ladykirk, Pedwell and Rutherford, with reserves from £120 to £1,500. The deadline for postal or online bids is 5pm on June 26 (01896 848271; www.tweedfoundation.org.uk).
In addition, The National Gamekeepers' Organisation has also released its annual auction of sporting days out, including stalking, shooting, ferreting, fishing and falconry.
The 155 lots include sea-fishing from Mevagissey, Cornwall (reserve £250), a 100-bird day at Howsyke Moor, North Yorkshire (£750) and fallow or muntjac stalking in Northamptonshire, donated by the Duke of Buccleuch (£150).
