Racing legend Frankel's first foal
Pictures have emerged of the racing legend Frankel's first foal since he was put out to stud
Song, who is a full sister to Group 1 winners Yesterday and Quarter Moon, produced a Bay Filly by Juddmonte Farms' superstar stallion Frankel early on Sunday morning, at The National Stud in Newmarket. Managing Director of The National Stud Brian O'Rourke said that both mare and foal are doing well, and that the filly is 'a very nice quality, athletic individual'.
Song is owned by Mr Khalid Abdul Rahim of Bahrain, and will visit Darley Stud's Dubawi this year; she will return home to Friarstown Stud in Ireland, which is owned by Mr Khalid Abdul Rahim, at the end of the current season.
