A serendipitous collaboration between the designer-owners, architect, and builder that boasts high-quality materials including metal tile roofs, concrete countertops, and custom metalwork, maintaining the owners' product designer sensibilities in mind throughout. The interiors use maple paneling & hidden cabinets to emphasize the essential elements of materiality, fine detailing, and durability to the spaces while minimizing clutter and distraction. The eye-catching and iconic, large glazed monitors are utilized throughout to bring in natural light. The landscape design seamlessly blends into the natural space of the Baltimore woods below, while also creating intentional, functional outdoor rooms. Concrete courts & planters filter rainwater before returning it back to the landscape and are filled with dramatic yet low-maintenance plantings respond to each season of the year. LOW taxes.
