Rushmore Hill Estate, Kent
Encompassing formal gardens, rolling farmland and dense woodland, the breathtaking Rushmore Hill Estate is a country haven, 18 miles from London.

The Rushmore Hill Estate is uniquely situated in a rural position within the M25. Surrounded by the rolling countryside of north Kent and within easy reach of the pretty village of Knockholt, Rushmore is a countryside haven just 18 miles from central London.
The estate extends to approximately 466 acres and is principally aligned along a deep and very private valley, which has previously formed the focal point of a first class shoot.
Rushmore House itself is a substantial country residence attractively built in brick and flint, set within large and secluded grounds. Wrought iron electric gates lead to the house which is approached by a long drive. The Gate Cottage sits immediately adjacent and there is a range of garages to the side.

A billiard room with a carved marble fireplace leads into the family room and the kitchen has been fitted by Smallbone of Devizes. Country Life is unlike any other magazine: the only glossy weekly on the newsstand and the only magazine that has been guest-edited by HRH The King not once, but twice. It is a celebration of modern rural life and all its diverse joys and pleasures — that was first published in Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee year. Our eclectic mixture of witty and informative content — from the most up-to-date property news and commentary and a coveted glimpse inside some of the UK's best houses and gardens, to gardening, the arts and interior design, written by experts in their field — still cannot be found in print or online, anywhere else.
