pertaining to the original ownership of a real Victorian beauty - the Glebe House
at Great Bedwyn, on the edge of the Savernake Forest near Marlborough, Wiltshire.
The former vicarage, listed Grade II, was designed by the eminent architect George Gilbert Scott Jr, and built with twin Dutch gables in the Queen Anne style between 1878 and 1879.
It is on the market at a guide price of £1.25m, with the original design specification included in the sale.
The house, which has four reception rooms, seven bedrooms and three bathrooms, stands in about an acre of gardens and grounds.
