The fifth dog of Christmas...Shep

After a little bit of time to get used to his new home, Shep will be the life and soul of the household, as long as you enjoy playing fetch!

The fifth rescue dog in our rehoming series with Dogs Trust, is the beautiful Shep, a two-year-old collie cross who is hoping to find a new family this Christmas.

Extremely intelligent as well as a very good looking boy, Sheo is looking for owners who are experienced with the working breed and can keep his brain occupied.

He loves toys and one of his favourite pastimes is a good game of fetch, so ideally Shep is after a home in a rural location where he can spend time out and about.

Shep would need an adult-only home and, although a loving pet, he is a little worried at first so would need a bit of time to settle in.

If Shep could be the dog for you, get in touch with Dogs Trust Basildon on 0300 303 0292 or visit the website www.dogstrust.org.uk. The Dogs Trust has a large number of dogs looking for a home this Christmas - if you think you might be able to offer a homeless dog a place to live do get in touch with the Dogs Trust, who match dogs to suitable owners, and have such a diverse collection of breeds and characters to choose from.
