Although he acquired a PhD in History at Cambridge, John F. Müller continues to show an interest in historical research, which he now combines with his love of heraldry. He is director of the Heraldic Institute and a fellow of the Royal Historical Society. “I’d rather be writing for Country Life” is emblazoned on his gym kit.
