This Grade II listed building has its origins in the medieval period but features later alterations in the early 20th century by Clough Williams-Ellis and the Arts and Crafts radical Randall Wells. In April 2004 a fire devastated half the manor. Restoration work post fire includes the restoration of Mrs Randall Wells’ ‘luscious’ plasterwork, the stabilising of oak paneling and staircases, and the replacement of the fire-damaged structure over three wings and all storeys of the house.
