End of Slowdown is ‘In Sight’
If you want to secure a sale on your property, don’t hesitate, put it on the market now, estate agents have advised.
If you?re thinking of selling your house don?t wait until spring to put it on the market, estate agents have urged. According to a survey released today by the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), over 80% of agents are recommending that, in spite of the cooling market, potential vendors should still put their property on the market by the beginning of January and not wait until the spring to secure a sale. The NAEA says the majority of agents believe that the slowdown will soon pass, and that there is still a strong market for good quality, realistically priced properties. Peter Bolton King, Chief Executive of the NAEA, said: ?We have been seeing a lot of media reports recently that the housing market is stalling. However, although we are seeing a slight slowdown, we anticipate that this will be short-lived.?
