SCAD academic programs consistently earn international accolades. The undergraduate and graduate interior design programs secured the No. 1 ranking by DesignIntelligence in 2016 — the fifth consecutive year the undergraduate program received the top spot.

The SCAD graduate fashion programs are also No. 1 in the world for “Best Learning Experience” and “Best Long-term Value” as well as No. 1 in the U.S., as determined by London-based The Business of Fashion in 2015.

Take the reins of your equestrian education at the state-of-the-art Ronald C. Waranch Equestrian Center, which provides 80 acres of paddocks, pastures, competition arenas and beautiful barns.

With expert faculty and a championship equestrian team, SCAD equestrian studies provides unrivaled career preparation and countless opportunities for creative exploration. Students gain hands-on experience as the university hosts collegiate and local member horse shows, United States Equestrian Federation-sanctioned events and United States Hunter Jumper Association shows and programs, in addition to clinics throughout the year.

The SCAD equestrian team has earned 50 American National Riding Commission and Intercollegiate Horse Show Association titles over the past decade. The team is a powerhouse at the collegiate level, with individual and team wins in the ANRC, IHSA and the National Tournament of Champions Series.

SCAD provides students who are passionate about all things equine the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level and to earn a degree in equestrian studies. You can complete the major, join the team or both.

As the first art and design university in the U.S. to offer a comprehensive intercollegiate athletics program, SCAD is actively dedicated to helping student-athletes develop their talents to the fullest — both on and off the field.

Recruited from around the world by an accomplished coaching staff, SCAD student-athletes have made their mark at the national level. Both men’s and women’s teams regularly earn conference and regional wins, and hold recent national titles in equestrian, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming and tennis.
