Linda McCooke and Alex Dadley of South West Ten
South West Ten is an opulent outerwear label, founded in 2007.
Describe what you do:
“You can see our wraps and parkas on many celebrities and some fabulous equestrian ambassadors. On a day to day basis we work closely with our suppliers to design styles for each season and when we’re not busy at shows, our small, but happy team, work selling our products online.”
How did you get started with South West Ten?
“South West Ten was founded 10 years ago through our shared love of fashion. We very quickly realised that there was a gap in the market for woman (and now men) who wanted fashionable but wearable parkas with a touch of style.”
What is your USP?
“Our USP is the fact that we try and understand what our customers want – practicality (all our parkas are waterproof) but in a style that is at home both in the country and in London. We also never sell anything we don’t absolutely love and would wear ourselves. We pride ourselves on our bespoke service, ‘Personalise Your Parka’ means that you need never have the same parka as your friend! We are able to make such a wide variety of colours and combinations that the sky is the limit in terms of designing your perfect piece.”
Why should people visit your stand at the Fair?
“People should visit our stand to see our amazing range of parkas and cashmere wraps. You will also have the opportunity to take the first look at our brand new collection of cashmere wraps trimmed with suede. We have a lot of lovely loyal customers and we are looking forward to seeing some old friends and making some new ones.”
