On top of celebrating its biggest selling issue ever at Christmas, Country Life has announced another ABC increase – it’s sixth - breaking records in the process
Country Life has delivered another extraordinary performance, declaring an annual ABC increase for the sixth year in a row. The double hat-trick is a record shared by just other weekly consumer title, The Week.
This announcement comes hot on the heels of the news that the 2015 Christmas double was the biggest-selling issue in the magazine’s history, selling over 60,000 copies in total – more than the 6069 issues that have gone before it – and Country Life winning the coveted BSME award for Scoop of the Year.
Editor Mark Hedges, who is approaching 10 years at the helm, says: ‘Country Life is a remarkable magazine performing exceptionally well. Week in, week out, we have the most eclectic mix of stories that can get the country talking, whether it be a Shakespeare discovery or tips on becoming a modern gentleman.’
