In Greater London, at the end of last year the average price of a flat was £362,073, whereas for a semi-detached property you’d be looking in the region of £468,533. Getting your foot on the property ladder as first time buyer with a property a little further out of the city for many represents the best potential chance for value for money. Think more space inside and outside your home.
Time think about the pitter patter
When starting a family, living out in the country could be an ideal option. Being in your own new home will give you financial stability, and you’ll also have a great choice of schools in your local vicinity. Growing up, the kids will also benefit from fresh air, more outdoor space and potentially safer environments.
