EU vets have lifted the ban on British exports of meat and meat products to the continent.
The ban was imposed three weeks ago following a confirmed case of Foot and Mouth disease. However, despite false alarms, it appears that the outbreak has been contained, and only produce from the 10km exclusion zone around the Surrey farms at the centre of the outbreak remain in place.
The restrictions on animal movement within Britain have also been lifted.
