Cliveden Village in Taplow, Berkshire is a new development on the grounds of the National Trust-owned Cliveden Estate, once home to Nancy Astor and probably most famous for hostess Christine Keeler’s poolside frolics with Cabinet Minister John Profumo in the Sixties.
On the site of a derelict hospital that formerly stood in Cliveden’s grounds, Countryside Properties is building 135 new apartments and houses from £410,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, with two to three-bed houses starting at £499,000. Three houses remain in the first building phase, with another 16 apartments and 16 houses being released in the second one.
Residents will be given access to 366-acres of grounds at Cliveden and a National Trust membership will be included in the service charge.
