The Oast Houses is a rather unusual property: it is made up of half of a conversion of four former oast buildings, three conical and one square.
The house, in Passfield near Liphook, Hampshire, has the combination of one conical and one square oast with three floors of perfectly square rooms and a staircase winding its way up the conical oast to the top circular bedroom.
There’s a reception hall, running from the front to the back of the house with exposed stone and brickwork, exposed timbers and quarry tiled floor. An archway leads into the circular oast and at the other end of the hall is a second staircase. On the ground floor, the kitchen is in the square oast with a snug, library, study and dining room the latter with exposed stone walls.
The 19ft drawing room on the first floor has tall picture windows making the best of the stunning views.
On the second floor, there are another three bedrooms (six altogether) including the circular one, which has a stained glass window and is painted blue, having been used as a teenager’s chill out room.
