Polar adventurers James Cracknell, Ben Fogle (www.benfogle.com)
and Ed Coats reached the South Pole at 3.30pm on 22nd January 2009. They traveled 464 miles during the race and finished in 2nd place, just over 20 hours behind Norwegian long distance ski experts ‘Team Missing Link’. The race was the first to the Pole since Captain Scott was beaten by the Norwegian Roald Amundsen nearly 100 years ago.
