Take part in the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust‘s (GWCT) Campaign Trail competition at this year’s Cereals event and you could win lunch for two at Le Gavroche, kindly donated by Michel Roux.
The competition is part of the GWCT’s involvement in the Campaign for the Farmed Environment, and boasts a range of great prizes.
In addition, the GWCT will hold another competition involving identifying farmland bird song, for which the prize is a hectare of wild-bird seed mix.
The GWCT’s stand (number 817) at the convention this year focuses on biodiversity, based on the organisation’s 40 years of intensive research.
Experts such as Dr Alastair Leake, Peter Thompson and Alex Butler will be on hand to answer questions on topics such as the survival of the grey partridge and to give visitors advice.
The Cereals event is held in Royston on June 9-10. For more information, visit www.cerealsevent.co.uk
