On February 24, 2011, the Gaucho International Polo Tournament is coming to London‘s O2 arena, and tickets are now on sale.
The ultimate arena polo event, the tournament will be played on a reduced-size pitch, with three players per side instead of four.
Three world-class matches will take place at the O2: an exhibition match, an international game between Scotland and South Africa and the historic grudge match between EFG‘s England and Camino Real‘s Argentina, who will slog it out for the Churchill Cup.
In between competitive matches, there will be a range of entertainment, such as a special celebrity polo match.
There will also be a players’ after-party in one of the exclusive clubs at the O2.
Gaucho Polo Tournament and Ralph Lauren ambassador Nacho Figueras said: ‘Polo is growing so quickly now and the introduction of such a great tournament to the UK during the winter off-season is a welcome addition.
‘Arena polo is such an exciting form of the game and it will be truly special to play it at such an iconic venue in front of so many supporters.’
