Annual outdoor sculpture exhibition at Kestle Barton, near Helston, an ancient Cornish farmstead above the Helford River which has been turned into a centre for the arts. The old barns have been converted, the farmland restored and managed organically and a new garden created by James Alexander-Sinclair. Peter Fluck (of Spitting Image fame) constructs kinetic outdoor sculptures from aluminium, steel and composite materials, which spin and swoop on windy days and gleam on still ones. The 2011 exhibition of outdoor sculpture. Stephen Walter – The Island: London Series. For their first exhibition of contemporary art at the 17th century Fenton House, and to mark the Affordable Art Fair’s launch in Hampstead, the National Trust, in association with TAG Fine Arts, is installing a series of maps by renowned artist Stephen Walter. David Breuer-Weil’s Visitor II has made its mark on Chatsworth in this year’s Beyond Limits exhibition.
