An exhibition of Annie Tempest’s works offers a great all-in-one Christmas shopping opportunity, with presents on sale ranging from framed cartoons to stocking fillers such as mugs and tea towels featuring her inimitable take on country-house life, much of it based on her own upbringing at Broughton Hall in Yorkshire. In August, Annie celeb-rated her 900th Tottering-by-Gently cartoon strip for Country Life.
