Maplehurst Mill is a Grade II listed Kentish property with the principal portion dating from 1756, with mid-19th century additions, although the oldest section dates from the 15th century or earlier.
Inside, the character of the building has been well-preserved: accommodation is arranged over three floors. The reception rooms have lots of period features including beams and timbers, exposed brickwork and splendid inglenook fireplaces – the drawing room overlooks the original water wheel while the library houses a cast iron wood-burning stove.
